Volunteers

Monte Carlo Night wouldn't be successful without our volunteers. Please consider helping us out this year. For volunteer opportunities the night of the event please contact Angela Reed email: adreed64@sbcglobal.net. Our needs include the following areas:

Before 8/2/08:
Ticket sales:
3 per shift to work after all Masses for the following weekends;
July 12/13, July 19/20, July 26/27

Decorations:
July 15, 17, 22 and 24 10 to 12 – 10 to 15 people
July 28 to August 2 – M, T, W from 10 to 12:30 and Th, F from 9 am to 8 pm – 10 to 15 people
Any help during these time periods would be great!!!!

Set Up:
7/31 – 5 pm to ? – 4 people to work with Vincent Webb
8/1 – 9 am to ? – 5 people to work with Vincent Webb

Silent Auction:
7/31 – 5 pm to ? – 10 people (help with final baskets and counts)
8/1 – 9 am to ? – 10 to 15 (help with setting up and decorating rooms)
** No kids at these 2 times as many breakables and much attention is needed to get it all done.

On 8/2/08:
Decorations:
9 am to ? – 15 to 20 people to help with final decorations and staging

Set Up:
5:45 p to 7:30 p – 15 people to help with stacking chairs and completing all final set up after 5 pm Mass and before doors open at 7:30 pm.

Clean Up:
12 a to ? – 25 to 30 people to help with putting Church back together for Mass at 8:30 on 8/3.

Ticket Table:
7 pm to 9 pm – 7 people to help with ticket sells at door and will call

Silent Auction:
1 person assigned to a room and 1 floater. Answer questions and assist shoppers.
7 p to 8:30 – 7 people
8:30 p to 10 – 7 people
10 p to ? – 7 people

Bank part of Silent auction:
Work with ATM/credit machines and accept final payments for items in silent auction.
10 p to ? – 6 people

Wine Raffle: work the table to promote and sell additional tickets. Answer questions.
7:30 to 9 – 2 people
9 to 10:30 – 2 people
10:30 to 12 – 2 people

Beverages: deliver drinks on tray around facility. Drinks will include beer, wine and sodas.
7 to 8:30 – 5 people
8 to 9:30 – 5 people
9 to 10:30 – 5 people
10 to 11:30 – 5 people
10:30 to 12 – 5 people

Chip Vendors: work the gaming areas to sell specials and additional chips. Collect money and take to chip bank.
8 to 9:30 – 10 people
9 to 10:30 – 10 people
10 to 11:30 – 10 people

Chip Voucher table/bank:
Sit at table and collect money and chip vouchers. Help to keep vouchers redistributed.
7:30 to 9:30 – 2 people
9:30 to 11:30 – 2 people

Raffle Table: Sit with raffle items. Provide directions for completing raffle tickets and putting in appropriate boxes.
7:30 to 9 – 1
9 to 10:30 – 1
10:30 to 12 – 2

Photographer: Sit and collect tickets for photos.
7 to 8:30 – 1
8:30 to 10 – 1
10 to 11:30 - 1

Photographer: take candid photos throughout evening.
7 to 12 – 1 or 2

Texas Hold’em tournament: work the tournament, collect chips and money for additional chips.
8 to 9:30 – 1
9:30 to 11:00 – 1

Bingo Caller: 1 person already filled for evening

Bingo exchange table: sit down and collect from assistants.
8 to 9 – 2
9 to 11 – 2

Bingo assistants: work the crowd to verify bingos, assist crowd, complete exchanges.
8 to 9 – 4 people
9 to 11 – 4 people
